PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and method that can obtain a superior joining state during welding between an element and a terminal of an electric double-layer capacitor. SOLUTION: A difference in thermal capacity between a terminal welding part and a collector aluminum foil is made small by processing a terminal welding edge at an acute angle to reduce damage to the collector aluminum foil, and consequently a superior welding state is obtained.
