<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of changing control of at least a transport roller, in response to a usage environment of a device body. <P>SOLUTION: In the image reading device 1, the content of control relating to at least feed/ejection of a medium P, depending on whether a housing 10 is in an installed state or a non-installed state, based on a detection result of a switch 151. As a result, in the image reading device 1, the rear end of the medium P in the transport direction is held by an ejecting roller 112 when, for instance, the housing 10 is in the non-installed state, and thereby the medium P of which the imaging is finished can be prevented from being ejected from the housing 10 by the ejecting roller 112 to be dropped and damaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
