PURPOSE: A controller of an air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to remarkably reduce manufacturing costs by displaying the current state of an air conditioning system without a display apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A controller of an air conditioning system for a vehicle comprises multiple button type switches(36,38,40,42,44,46,48) or rotation type switches(34) and a control unit(60). The button type switches or the rotation type switches individually control the temperature, quantity, and direction of air supplied to the inside a vehicle. When an air conditioning system is in an automatic mode, the control unit displays the current state of the air conditioning system by controlling the lighting of the button type switches or the rotation type switches.
