PURPOSE: A rubber composition for tire upper bead filler is provided to ensure low hardness, and excellent hysteresis and heat resistance and to enable use as upper bead filler which creates the heat by severe movement and is important in thermal stability. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire upper bead filler comprises 100 parts by weight of a base rubber including a natural rubber, 30-50 parts by weight of carbon black in which n-dibutyl phthalate oil absorption is 70-130 cc/100g, and a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanizing accelerator, wherein the weight ratio of the vulcanizing agent and the vulcanizing accelerator is 1:2-3:2.
