The invention relates to a machining device for skis (1), comprising a roller table (3), the roller table rollers (4) of which receive the skis (1) at the running surfaces (5) thereof and are supported in a resiliently yielding manner, a drivable grindstone (7) provided between two roller table rollers (4) for structuring the running surface (5) of the skis (1), and an advancing wheel (14) arranged on the side of the roller table (3) opposite the grindstone (7), which advancing wheel presses the skis (1) against the grindstone (7) using a predeterminable grinding force by means of a contacting drive (16). In order to be able to accurately control the effective grinding forces, the contacting drive (16) for the advancing wheel (14) can be actuated by means of a control unit (19) depending on a force measuring unit (13) that at least partially receives the supporting forces for the grindstone (7) in the direction of the grinding force. |
