<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor film shape and a trimming shape which suppress generation of a hot spot due to current concentration around a trimming part, and are highly reliable and suitable for improving a V-I characteristic of a resistor. <P>SOLUTION: In a resistor manufacturing process including a process of forming a resistance film 3 on an insulation substrate 1, and a trimming process of adjusting a resistance value by trimming the resistance film, a cutout 4 is previously formed on a side of the resistor in forming the resistor; first cut trimming being rough adjustment is subsequently performed by cutting out the resistor to expand the area of the cutout in the trimming process; thereafter an edge part adjacent to the first cut trimming trace is subsequently cut to be expanded as fine adjustment; and thereby second cut trimming to increase the resistance value is performed in the form of expanding the trimming area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
