PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image photographing apparatus which is dealt with the deformation of a structural object existing between an X-ray source and an X-ray detector, and can specify the position of an image defect after movement and appropriately correcting the position even when the position of the image defect on an X-ray image is moved. SOLUTION: An image processing part includes: a defective map holding part configured to hold at least one defective map for storing the position of the defect of the structural object existing between the X-ray source and the X-ray detector; an image defect position specifying part configured to obtain a projection position on the X-ray detector concerning the defect of the structural object, based on a photographing condition in generating the defective map and a photographing condition in actually photographing a mamma; and a correction processing part configured to correct the image defect of the projection position on the X-ray detector concerning the defect of the structural object in the X-ray image to be obtained by actually photographing the mamma.
