PURPOSE: A method and kit for screening a GSK-3 inhibitor are provided to ensure reproducibility and reliably analyze using a small amount of cells. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening a GSK inhibitor comprises: a step of culturing cell line which expresses tau proteins enabling phosphorylation; a step of treating GSK-3 inhibitor candidate materials to a cell line; and a step of measuring phosphorylation level of the tau protein in the cell line. The cell line is mammal-derived cell line. A kit for screening the GSK-3 inhibitor contains a cell line which expresses tau proteins, a reagent for cell fixation, and an antibody for phosphoraylated tau proteins.
