PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce nonuniformity in detection performance that depends on the direction in an oscillating magnetic field of a label, in a folded state of a label body, even if a magnetic member is not arranged along a first direction and a second direction, in a non-folded state of the label body. SOLUTION: The label 10 includes the linear magnetic member 30 having a large Barkhausen effect, the label body 20 that includes the magnetic member 30 and is folded so that the magnetic member 30 is arranged along the first direction and the second direction that cross each other, and a maintaining means 26 for maintaining the folded state of the label body 20.
