PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition which is discolored with difficulty upon molding and has good heat stability particularly in the fields of injection molding and extrusion molding. SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition is characterized by satisfying the following requirements (A) MFR is 1.0 or more and 50 or less, (B) the density is 940 kg/m<SP>3</SP>or more and 967 kg/m<SP>3</SP>or less, (C) Mw/Mn is 5.0 or more and 7.0 or less, (D) the titanium content of the polyethylene resin composition is, by weight, 1.0 ppm or more and 6.0 ppm or less, (E) the chlorine content of the polyethylene resin composition is, by weight, 5.0 ppm or more and 25.0 ppm or less, and (F) the terminal vinyl content is 0.02/1,000C or more and 0.15/1,000C or less.
