PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylic resin composition having good flame retardancy and excellent heat resistance. SOLUTION: The methacrylic resin composition comprises: a polymer X obtained by polymerizing a monofunctional monomer principally consisting of methyl methacrylate, a polyfunctional monomer having at least two radical-polymerizable double bonds in the molecule, and a heat-resistance improving monomer, and a halogenated phosphoric ester. In the methacrylic resin composition, a content of the polymer X is 75.0-95.0 pts.wt. and a content of the halogenated phosphoric ester is 5.0-25.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the sum of the polymer X and the halogenated phosphoric ester. The polymer X is obtained by polymerizing 79.0-99.8 wt.% of the monofunctional monomer, 0.1-1.0 wt.% of the polyfunctional monomer, and 0.1-20.0 wt.% of the heat-resistance improving monomer based on 100 wt.% of the sum of the monofunctional monomer, the polyfunctional monomer, and the heat-resistance improving monomer.
