PURPOSE: A single phase induction motor stator and a single phase induction motor are provided to improve efficiency and have improved by comprising a gap for a magnetic flux flow. CONSTITUTION: A stator(300) of a single phase induction motor includes a stator core which is split into two parts based on a central line along the alignment direction of a bobbin and the stator. The bobbin has a through hole and is included in the center of the stator. The top of the stator is combined with both sides of the bobbin through an installation hole. A stator bore is formed on the bottom of the stator. A stator core is formed with a plurality of the shading coil installation grooves.
