PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS (Point Of Sale) register device capable of acquiring an operation history necessary for investigation from a change machine where a storage capacity of a memory is limited. SOLUTION: The POS register device 1 includes: a POS register 2; and the change machine 3 connected to the POS register 2 responding to the POS register 2, paying money, and transmitting the money amount information of received money to the POS register 2. In the POS register device, the change machine 3 includes the memory 32 storing the operation history including the money payment and the money reception, and the POS register 2 includes a hard disk 22 storing the operation history of the change machine 3, reads the operation history from the memory 32 in predetermined timing, and writes it into the hard disk 22. Thereby, when the money reception/payment or the like is performed when the change machine 3 operates by itself, the operation history is stored into the memory 32, and written into the hard disk 22. Even if a difference between cash and a cash balance value of money occurs, a cause thereof can be specified when investigating the operation history written in the hard disk 22.
