FAULT CURRENT LIMITER

摘要

PURPOSE: A fault current limiter is provided to limit the fault current by generating the impedance on the AC current line through the magnetization of the metal core. CONSTITUTION: A fault current limiter comprises an iron core(10), an alternating current line(20), and a direct current magnet(30). The iron core is magnetized as the short circuit current is induced into the iron core. The magnetization of the iron core generates big impedance in the alternating current line. The impedance generated in the alternating current line limits the fault current.
