PURPOSE: An optimum recording apparatus of an optical disc and a method thereof, capable of a recording operation through optimum recording power are provided to variably control the performance section of an OPC(Optimum Power Control) operation. CONSTITUTION: An optimum recording apparatus of an optical disc includes an optical disc(10), an optical driver(12), an optical pick-up device(11) and a controller(14). The optical pick-up device detects a signal from the optical disc according to the driving signal. The controller controls the performance section of the write power optimization motion based on the record quality. The controller controls recording power in a recording mode. |
