A method, apparatus and system for message transmission are provided. The method includes the following steps: a Session Initiation Protocol/Internet Protocol (SIP/IP) Core, which a converged service system belongs to, receives a message transmission request carrying the destination user address of the message, from the participator function (PF) module to which the converged service user belongs, or the controller function (CF) module to which the group user address belongs; the SIP/IP Core transmits the message to the above destination user address, and if the transmission fails, the PF/CF judges whether the message needs to be transmitted by means of conventional message service; according to the judgment result, the converged service system transmits the message to the destination user. With the present invention, the technical effects of improving the message transmission efficiency of the converged service system, and enhancing the user experience are achieved. |
