PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a user of software with information necessary for plural-steps of upgrades of the software. SOLUTION: A display device includes: a storage means which stores upgraded information which correlates an identifier which identifies each upgraded version of software posterior to upgrade in each of the plural-steps of upgrades of the software with the contents upgraded from the version just prior to the upgrade; a generation means which analyzes the upgraded information to generate information on a difference between the contents of the software prior to the plural-steps of upgrades and the upgraded contents of the software posterior to the plural-steps of upgrades; and a display means which displays the information on the difference.
