PURPOSE: A system and a method for analyzing a protocol are provided to show text data received through a communication network or a serial communication port in a desired format. CONSTITUTION: A protocol analysis terminal(300) analyzes a protocol command message and transceiving data. The protocol analysis terminal outputs analysis data by one among ASCII, HEX and a communication control text. The protocol analysis terminal provides a script editor while providing the analysis data to a monitoring terminal(500). The protocol analysis terminal complies and executes a script inputted by the editor provided to the monitoring terminal. The protocol analysis terminal makes a script execution window and a script compile result by graphics and outputs them.
