PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve easiness of operations for users and to save recording paper by printing received picture information which is received from a predetermined party, and indicating received picture information which is received from the others on a display means. SOLUTION: An incoming storage part 103 stores information that printing onto recording paper or storage into a received picture information storage part 105 is to be processed in accordance with a facsimile number to which a call is terminated. When a FAX receiving part 104 receives a FAX, processing contents corresponding to a caller number which is detected by a caller number detecting part 101 are selected from the incoming storage part 103, and the selected processing is applied to the received picture information. Thus, in accordance with the caller number from which the call is terminated, the received picture information storage part 105 stores the received picture information and a received picture information display part 106 displays the received information, or a received picture information recording part 107 prints the received information on the recording paper.
