The invention relates to machine-tool industry, namely, to all types of grinding, in particular the shaped products and products of aspheric optics. In a method of compensation of tool wear synchronously with movement for cutting in the radial plane of tool at a given angle to the direction of movement for cutting a contact element is displaced, when moving tool for cutting tool, according to the ratio:s = t + t • cos α,when moving to cutting a workpiece – according to the ratio:s = t,where s - movement of the contact element;t - movement for cutting;α - angle between the direction of movement of the contact element and the direction of movement for cutting, in the case the working surface of the tool is brought into contact, directly or indirectly, with a contact element to move at the end of movement for cutting, i.e. at the end of working. A device comprises the contact element (roll 2) located with a gap t' to the working surface of the tool 1 equal to the gap between the working surface of the tool and the surface of worked piece 3, and a synchronizer of displacement for cutting and movement of the contact element according to above relations. At the end of movement for cutting (dotted lines), the contact element (roll 2) comes into contact with the working surface of the tool 1, and further movement for cutting cinematically, upon the signal of contact element or according to the program is blocked. The synchronizer is made in the form of an adding mechanism, or as a selsyn, or as a device with programmed control, with possibility of connection to the device of profiled movement for cutting. The contact element is made as a position sensor, or as a force sensor, or as a support, or as a straightening support with possibility of connection with a position sensor. Effect: provision of self-compensation of the tool wear during working, without limitation of the method and form of grinding by hard, resilient and flexible abrasive tool. |
