GAIN AND BANDWIDTH CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD ON ARRAY ANTENNA FOR ANTI-JAMMING IN GPS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A control device of the gain of the array antenna and a bandwidth for anti - jamming in GPS system and a method thereof are provided to increase safely the dynamic range of the array antenna system with the Hysteresis auto gain control thereby removed by big anti-jamming algorithm. CONSTITUTION: An auto gain controller(244) outputs the input signal of a receiving unit to predetermined gain. In case the input signal obtain bigger by the great jamming signal in the input signal, a hysteresis gain setting unit(245) changes the auto control gain to minimum gain. In case the input signal obtain smaller by the small jamming signal, the hysteresis gain setting unit changes the auto control gain to maximum gain again. A variable band low-frequency pass filter(241) filters the input signal passed the hysteresis gain setting unit.
