The device (10) has two bar-elements (11, 13) that are arranged parallel to each other. One of the elements is L-shaped and includes a short, right-angled bent leg (12). Another element i.e. screwdriver, exhibits length from a connecting point up to an end facing away from the connecting point, where the bar-elements are made of ferrous metal compounds. The latter element is flattened at the end facing away from the connecting point. Width of the flattened ends of the former and the latter elements are smaller than the width of a through-opening of a spring nut. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a spring nut by utilizing a spring nut-mounting device.
