PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem in a conventional digital camera: a user cannot easily confirm the carefulness of the way of handling a digital camera corresponding to the history of the way of handling the digital camera. SOLUTION: Based on the number of times of determining that a pressure applied to a camera body 2, which is detected by a pressure sensor 32 exceeds a first threshold and a second threshold larger than the first threshold, the number of times being stored in a nonvolatile memory 33, a CPU 21 displays the way of handling the digital camera (portable electronic equipment) 1 of a user on an image display device 5. The handling way thus displayed at the image display device 5 allows the user to recognize whether the digital camera 1 is usually used roughly, used normally or used carefully.
