<p>The clip has an information carrier (2) extending from two arc-shaped arms (4). The arms enclose a circular receiving space (6) whose diameter (D) is adapted to outer diameter of a neck of a beverage bottle. The arms are formed at a distance (A) to each other at free ends (8). The distance is smaller than the diameter of the receiving space. The arms are flexibly movable such that the distance between the free ends is extendable to a value that is larger than the diameter of the bottle neck. A retaining element (12) comprises a core (14) whose outer contour is adapted to the receiving space. An independent claim is also included for a method for marking a bottle using a bottle clip.</p> |
