<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece measuring device achieving high precision three-dimensional measurement with necessary minimum measurement data without modifying an NC device. <P>SOLUTION: In the workpiece measuring device 20, a sending/receiving section 22 outputs a timing pulse P from a pulse output section 24 to a programmable controller 25, and outputs a measuring command f to a measuring head 8 at every certain time interval. Upon receiving the timing pulse, the programmable controller captures position data of the measuring head at every certain time interval. Upon receiving the measuring command, the measuring head measures the workpiece 9 at every certain time interval and at a timing positively advanced by a time difference preset by an estimation system 29 disposed in the measuring head.
