PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container supporting device in which a cup supporting member is abutted against a flap to move the flap when a holder is stored in a housing and then the looseness of the cup supporting member within the housing is prevented. SOLUTION: A container supporting device (10) comprises a housing, a holder (30), a cup supporting member (70), a flap (80), a resilient member (110) for biasing the flap (80) toward an insertion hole (31), a shaft part (101) arranged at either the holder (30) or the flap (80) (the flap 80, for example) and a bearing (102) arranged at the other (the holder 30, for example) and having a bearing hole (103) capable of receiving the shaft (101). When the holder (30) is stored in the housing, the cup supporting member (70) is abutted against the flap (80) to cause the shaft (101) to move within the bearing hole (103) of the bearing (102).
