FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary surgery. The method consists in the fact that the hernial sac is underrun with an even number of parallel sutures throughout with plicating. The ends of the adjacent sutures are pulled together with making a friction knot. The sutures in every second pair of rows are started with needle stick-in at 3 cm and stick-out at 1.5 cm from an edge of the hernial ring, and finished with needle stick-in at 1.5 cm and stick-out at 3 cm from the edge of the hernial ring. ^ EFFECT: method allows to reduce tissue tension within the hernial ring and hernial sac. ^ 1 dwg
