Semi-conductive silicone compositions and articles of manufacture (10, 110, 210, 302) containing these compositions are formed by combining a silicone precursor composition with an alkali metal salt and polymerizing the silicone precursor composition in the presence of the alkali metal salt to form a polymerized semi- conductive silicone composition. The polymerized silicone composition can be formed into a solid or foam article of manufacture having a volume resistivity of E8 to E 12 ohm- cm, such as a roller (10, 110, 302) or an anti-static belt (210). |
