The brush pressure spring (10) has a center part (12) and two blades (16,18), where each blade is provided for charging carbon brushes (30a,30b,30c,30d) with spring pressure. Each blade extends both sides of the center part in opposite directions (20,22). An independent claim is also included for a brush plate with a radial collector.
