The fuel injection valve has a nozzle body (10) with a hollow chamber which is divided into a valve seat hole (31) and a stud hole (35) is adjacent to a valve seat hole. A valve seat surface (32) is defined at an inner wall bounding the valve seat hole. A valve seat section (21) has a conically tapered outer circumference, which defines another valve seat surface (22) aligned for interaction with the valve seat surface so that a controllable valve (V) is formed in flow-through cross-section. The stud hole is formed in direction to a base (36) of the stud hole in conically tapered manner.
