摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image feature amount detection device detecting a Purkinje image with high accuracy, and to provide a view line direction detection device using the same. SOLUTION: This image feature amount detection device includes: a light source; a camera; and an image processor processing an image captured by the camera, and detecting a reflection image (the Purkinje image) of the light source in a cornea surface of an eye of a person. The light source includes first and second light sources disposed such that the first and second light sources illuminate a face of the person from mutually different directions. The image processor detects the Purkinje image based on a difference in a position between a pixel set not less than a prescribed luminance inside a first image and a pixel set not less than the prescribed luminance inside a second image by use of the first image captured by the camera in a state that the first light source is turned on and that the second light source is turned off, and the second image captured by the camera in a state that the second light source is turned on and that the first light source is turned off.
