PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a loading/unloading efficiency in a multilayer box circulating parking apparatus of intermediate riding-in system. SOLUTION: A loading/unloading lift passage 19 communicating with a loading/unloading part 7 is provided between a right side storage part 5a and a left side storage part 5b. A right end circulating lift passage 21a and a left end circulating lift passage 21b are provided to the ends of the right side storage part 5a and the left side storage part 5b on the anti-loading/unloading lift passage 19 side, respectively. A box circulating passage is configured on both sides of the loading/unloading lift passage 19 by the loading/unloading lift passage 19, circulating lift passages 21a, 21b, and three layers of lateral transfer passages 13a-13c. The lateral transfer passages 13a-13c in each layer which are arranged side by side on the left and right sides of the right side storage part 5a and the left side storage part 5b are disposed at a height difference T so that, when a loading/unloading lift 23 for the loading/unloading lift passage 19 is positioned on the side of the lateral transfer passages 13a-13c on one side and leveled with the lateral transfer passages 13a-13c so that a pallet P can be laterally transferred between the lift and the lateral transfer passages.
