PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autofocus system by which focusing can be properly performed after preset reproduction by storing and reproducing a position of an AF frame taking the position of the AF frame as a preset object in a preset function concerning a focus position and a zoom position. SOLUTION: A CPU 78 of a main board 70 of an image processing unit 58 having an automatic AF frame tracking function has an AF frame preset function. When an instruction switch 122 or 124 of a number 1 or a number 2 is turned on in a state that a storage mode is set by operation of a memory switch 120 of an AF frame operation part 60, the CPU 78 stores a present range of an AF frame, a present focus position and a present zoom position as the preset state corresponding to the number. When the instruction switch 122 or 124 of the number showing the preset state that has been stored is turned on in a state that a reproducing mode is set by operation of the AF frame operation part 60, the CPU 78 sets the range of the AF frame, the focus position and the zoom position so that the stored preset state is assumed.
