PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly expand and contract a paper discharge tray according to the size of paper to be discharged when paper of different sizes can be fed and the paper discharge tray is constituted to be expandable and contractible, and to improve stability of the paper discharge tray. SOLUTION: This image forming device includes the paper discharge tray 40 which is arranged on an upper side of an upper stage paper feeding tray 20, is capable of mounting paper with images formed by an image forming part 12 and is constituted to be changed into states of a first holding state capable of holding paper up to a prescribed size smaller than a second size and a second holding state capable of holding paper of the second size. The image forming device includes a supporting means 50 for supporting the paper discharge tray 40 in cooperation with a lower stage paper feeding tray 30 when the paper feeding tray 40 is in the second holding state.
