<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer-supporting substrate having high catalyst utilization efficiency and high durability, and a high-output fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst layer-supporting substrate is used as an anode/cathode electrode for the fuel cell. A catalyst layer 15 to be formed on a substrate 1 is the layer including a catalyst material layer or catalyst wire 12 and pores 13. The half-value width of a main peak of the catalyst material, as determined from an X-ray diffraction spectrum of the catalyst layer, is ≥1.5° and porosity of the catalyst layer is ≥30%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
