<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handler capable of preventing the occurrence of defective products and the faults of equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A control device moves chuck sleeves 73 downward by chucking electronic devices by the chuck sleeves 73 while the openings of recesses 721 of lead presses 72 face a placing table, and canceling the chucking by the chuck sleeves 73 while a contact head is turned over to face a socket, that is, the lead presses 72 face upward. By performing the above operations, the electronic devices move downward by gravity and are accurately stored in the recesses 721 of the lead presses 72.
