PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detector that determines occurrence of an abnormality to a person to be monitored by the moving body detection, capable of avoiding erroneous determination. SOLUTION: The abnormality detector comprises: a moving body sensor 7 for detecting a movement of a person to be monitored present in the monitored space; a leading processing part 22 for performing predetermined leading processing so that the person to be monitored is made to make a movement when the time the moving body sensor 7 does not detect a movement of the person to be monitored lasts for a predetermined time period or longer; and an abnormality determination processing part 23 for determining that an abnormality has occurred to the person to be monitored when the moving body sensor 7 does not detect the movement of the person to be monitored even after the leading processing part 22 has performed the leading processing.
