<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise productivity of an image forming apparatus and to safely control a fixing device even when an abnormal state is caused in the fixing device by quickly supplying power to a fixing heating part after power application. <P>SOLUTION: After the power application, before a CPU 13a which controls the whole starts, power is supplied to the fixing heating part 22a which heats the fixing device by a power supply signal which is generated by a power supply signal generation circuit 12 by hardware configuration. After the fixing heating part 22a becomes predetermined temperature and the CPU 13a starts, the power supply signal is switched to the one from a power supply generation part 13 which performs fixing control by a program to supply power to the fixing heating part 22a. The image forming apparatus is provided with an invalidation circuit 16 which stores, holds, even when the abnormal state is generated in the fixing device while causing the CPU 13a start, the abnormal state in a nonvolatile storage part 21 and an abnormality storage part 17, and invalidates the power supply signal by outputting a fixing abnormal signal and a holding signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
