<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content transmission device that enables a transmission source to transmit contents in a predetermined storage format and management information corresponding to the storage format to a transmission destination by specifying the storage format when transmitting the contents. <P>SOLUTION: The content transmission device includes a selection unit which selects the storage format in which the contents can be stored in a receiver as a format for copying or moving the contents through a network, and a concatenation unit which generates concatenated content information for transmitting the contents and management information on the storage format together based upon the selected storage format, and transmits the concatenated content information to the transmission destination to reduce reconversion processing for format, thereby making copying or moving processing fast. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
