PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control unit for solving the problem wherein the efficiency of reducing manufacturing costs is low. SOLUTION: A management section finds a logical port for control corresponding to a radio control mode for making connection to an external network by communication media used by an external device 5 according to a physical port to which the external device 5 is attached.The management section also acquires communication media information indicating communication procedures in the radio control mode from the external device 5. A connection section makes connection to a terminal unit 1 by the UPnP standard. The connection section also makes connection to the external network via the external device 5, based on the communication media information acquired by the management section and the logical port for control found by the management section, when receiving an execution request of a providing function as a connection request for connection to the external network from the terminal unit 1.
