PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling a printer based on direction of paper along a feeding direction of the print paper are provided to determine whether printing paper is printed in a right direction based on the feeding direction of the printing paper. CONSTITUTION: An indicator is detected from the fixed region of the printing paper. A detection unit detects indicator from the fixed region of the printing paper. A decision unit(602) is the detection result in the printing direction. A print controller(603) is the fixed region and the printing paper is inside out turned and it again provides paper.
