PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only reduce the number of signal by a scanner having bi-directional transfer function but also allow output potential to be stable.

SOLUTION: This relates to a bi-directional transferable scanner comprising a plurality of unit circuits 510 composed of same type of conductive transistors. The unit circuit 510 comprising the scanner includes an output transistor which selectively outputs a signal inputted from the outside to an output terminal. A gate electrode of the output transistor is electrically connected to a first terminal which is an output terminal of the other unit circuit 510 through a first direction switch. Further, the gate electrode of the output transistor is also electrically connected to a second terminal which is the output terminal of the other unit circuit 510 through a second direction switch.
