PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display including a static electricity prevention structure by which error display caused by static electricity is not easily generated. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes: a liquid crystal display panel 1; a cell case 4 for holding the liquid crystal display panel 1; a circuit board 5 disposed on the back of the liquid crystal display panel 1; a conductive terminal 7 (connection member) for connecting the liquid crystal panel 1 to the circuit board 5; and a display plate 8 (front plate) covering the peripheral edge part of the liquid crystal display panel 1, wherein, a conductive member 9 brought into contact with the display plate 8 and contact with also the earth terminal 71 (earth part) of the terminal 7 is disposed between the display plate 8 and the liquid crystal display panel 1.
