PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing container inspection device capable of enhancing inspection precision relating to the supply state of a hotmelt adhesive more than before. SOLUTION: The packing container inspection device 20 is adopted to a forming apparatus 10 that forms a packing box 7 in such a manner that a sheet 3 is folded so as to superpose a part of the sheet 3 while conveying the sheet 3 by means of a sheet conveyor 4 and an overlapped portion P1 is bonded with a hotmelt adhesive. The packing container inspection device compares a temperature at an outer face of the overlapped portion P1 in an outer face of the packing box 7 with a determination temperature so as to inspect whether or not the hotmelt adhesive is adequately supplied to the overlapped portion P1. In the packing container inspection device, a temperature at an outer face of a non-overlapped portion P2 that is other than the overlapped portion P1 in the outer face of the packing box 7 is detected by means of a third temperature sensor 23, and thereby the determination temperature is corrected on the basis of the detected temperature.
