<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device capable of setting a scroll speed on the basis of a contact position to a display screen by a user by a contact operation to the display screen, quickly scrolling information displayed on a display screen, and displaying desired information. <P>SOLUTION: The scroll speed of map information is determined corresponding to a distance L from the contact position to a closest end edge. When the distance L is in an equal speed region 101a, the scroll speed is determined to be a highest speed HiS. When the distance L is in a stop region 101c, the scroll speed is determined to be 0. When the distance L is in an adjustment region 101b, the scroll speed CS becomes CS=(HiS-LoS)/(S-T)(L-S)+HiS. In this case, LoS is the scroll speed CS at hte boundary of the adjustment region 101b and the stop region 101c, S is a distance from the boundary of the equal speed region 101a and the adjustment region 101b to the closest end side and T is a distance from the boundary of the adjustment region 101b and the stop region 101c to the closest end side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
