<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a silent section from being generated between fragments and rhythm from becoming unnatural throughout a musical piece when connecting a plurality of musical pieces in units of fragments to generate a new musical piece. <P>SOLUTION: When musical sound data showing the waveform of each fragment of a main musical piece designated to be performed among a plurality of musical pieces is replaced with musical sound data of a fragment whose musical feature amount is similar to that of the fragment of the main musical piece among the musical sound data of each fragment of another musical piece, time-axis compression/expansion is applied for replacement while adjusting the time length. As a means for the time-axis compression/expansion, a first low-quality and high-speed means and a second high-quality and low-speed means are provided. At the beginning of reproduction of a music piece, it is replaced with the musical sound data to which time-axis compression/expansion is applied by the first means, and subsequently, replaced with the musical sound data to which time-axis compression/expansion is applied by the second means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
