PURPOSE: A plug-in registration method for transmitting push contents and the device thereof are provided to offer generic dynamic contents delivery architecture capable of adding an application and a contents provider without the change of architecture. CONSTITUTION: A push proxy includes the pre-registered three contents providers(1210,1212,1214). A contents provider(1216) wants to register in the push proxy. The contents provider includes the service manifest(1218). In order that the contents provider establishes channel meta data, the push proxy uses the service manifest.
