<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing use, enabling eliminating such a trouble that a fishline fallen from the rear of a spool under being put to practical use is intruded into the front part of the reel body in a rotor recessed part and entangled, while attaining the reel body's light weightness and miniaturization. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spinning reel 10 for fishing use includes the reel body 12 having a front part 80 projected in front of a handle fitment supporting a handle 32, and a rotor 60 supported rotatably on the front part. The spinning reel 10 is to be used in such a way that the front part with a support part 80a supporting a drive shaft 22 projected is disposed relative to the recessed part of the rotor opened rearward. The reel body is flangeless to keep the opening of the rotor's recessed part opened, and characterized in that, when the reel body's front part is disposed relative to the rotor's recessed part, a fishline intrusion-proof projection 95 for preventing a fishline from being intruded into the rotor's recessed part is provided on the outer side of the reel body.
