PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona charging device capable of preventing the occurrence of air pollution, preventing the transformation of a photoreceptor when being used in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, and suppressing the occurrence of density unevenness or image irregularity just below the charging device, and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus with the corona charging device. SOLUTION: In the middle of a metal shield case 2b of a rectangular cross-section which has an opening 2c on one side, a corona discharge electrode 2a is locked and extended by holding parts 2e and 2f disposed at both ends of the shield case 2b. A charging grid 2d is locked on the opening 2c so as to cover the opening 2c, the charging grid 2d being used to control discharge potential from the corona discharge electrode 2a by the application of bias voltage to the charging grid 2d. The surface of the charging grid 2d is covered with a conductive, porous crosslinking resin film containing zeolite powder and a conductive agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
