The connector (1) has two connection plug contacts (3a, 3b) arranged in an insulant housing (2). The connection plug contacts are distanced from each other and clamp at corresponding socket contacts of a connection terminal i.e. series terminal. The connection plug contacts comprise contact areas at end sections for supporting and electrical contacting of components e.g. printed circuit board (5a) and electrical resistor. The contact areas comprise two component receiving contacts (6, 7) lying one over the other in a longitudinal extending direction of the connection plug contacts.
